This spiritually immersive 5-day tour follows the path of Jesus from the shores of the Sea of Galilee to the sacred streets of Jerusalem and the biblical wilderness of the Judean Desert. Designed for Christian pilgrims seeking deep engagement with the New Testament story, the tour combines scriptural landmarks, reflective moments, and the breathtaking landscapes where faith and history meet.
Begin your journey in Jaffa, the ancient port city linked to Peter's vision and Jonah’s voyage. Continue along the Mediterranean coast to Caesarea, the Roman capital where Paul was imprisoned and preached before Felix and Agrippa. Ascend into the Galilee to visit Nazareth, home of Mary and Joseph, and the Basilica of the Annunciation. End the day in Cana, site of Jesus’ first miracle, where couples may renew their wedding vows.
Overnight: Tiberias
Visit Capernaum, Jesus’ Galilean base, with its well-preserved synagogue and the House of Peter. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes, commemorating the Sermon on the Mount, and then to Magdala, the hometown of Mary Magdalene with a first-century synagogue. See the ancient Galilee boat, and optionally sail on the Sea of Galilee, retracing the footsteps of the disciples. In the afternoon, drive past Mount Tabor, traditional site of the Transfiguration, and continue through the Plains of Armageddon and Emmaus en route to Jerusalem.
Begin at the Chapel of the Ascension and the Pater Noster Church, then walk down the Mount of Olives, pausing at the Dominus Flevit Church, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane, the Grotto of Gethsemane, and Mary’s Tomb at the base of the hill. Enter Mount Zion to visit the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey, then head into the Old City to explore the Jewish Quarter and the Herodian Quarter, with a stop at a site possibly linked to Jesus’ interrogation. Continue to the Western Wall, then walk the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the site of the Crucifixion, Burial, and Resurrection.
Start with a visit to the Temple Mount, site of the ancient Jewish Temples and today’s Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Walk to the Pools of Bethesda, the Church of St. Anne, and the Praetorium, where Jesus stood before Pilate. Continue to the Southern steps, and in the afternoon, choose between a tour of the City of David, or the Israel Museum, where the Dead Sea Scrolls and are displayed. Optional evening activity: attend the Tower of David Night Spectacular, a sound-and-light show in the Old City’s historic citadel.
Descend through the Judean Desert to the Good Samaritan Inn Museum, and Qasr el-Yahud baptismal site, where Jesus was baptized. Nearby, visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, and later drive through the lush oasis of Ein Gedi, where David hid from Saul. You can also opt to tour Masada, Herod’s mountaintop fortress and the last stronghold of Jewish rebels. End the day relaxing at a Dead Sea, with time to float in its healing waters.
